Hexagons within a Hexagon - Paving Workshop

Skill up with local paving expert Brett Jacobsen who will take us though the basics of good paving techniques. We will create together the 'necessary' carpark area with style, using recycled second hand pavers.

About the Event

We will provide morning tea and lunch from 1-2pm for all who attend the day workshop. Brett is only available before 1pm so we will have to carry on in the afternoon without him but by then will be skilled up - I hope. :-)

Please note that this workshop will require physical work of moving pavers and walking on uneven surfaces. You must notify us of  injuries you may have as that we can exercise care of duty during this workshop.

The Hive has been great for...

Gallery exhibition, craft & meditation sessions, in-service

The Hive fills a local gap for me where I’m looking for a small scale venue that has an artistic aesthetic.

In the last year I have used it for a variety of activities:

  • Gallery space for Mosaic Exhibition for one month

  • Weekly meditation groups

  • A craft meet up that I ran on an occasional basis for four week blocks

  • A venue for a teacher in-service and lunch for my ten teachers and a presenter
