Artspirit is the booking and events manager.
Create Collaborate Collective Inc (NFP) will run the exhibition and events.
The Queanbeyan Hive is the Venue/Gallery: 274 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan, NSW 2620.
Craft ACT is promoting the event on the Design Canberra Festival Program 2021.

Artists are responsible for
-
Supplying requested information that promotes your work, art practice and your background story.

Clearly marking your artworks with you name, the title of your work and sale price.

Supplying framed artworks appropriately ready for hanging.

Installation of artwork if needed.
-
Arranging any artwork insurance.
-
Delivering artworks to the gallery no later than 7 November 2021.

Attending either the opening or closing event and helping out where possible.
-
Collecting unsold artworks.
-
Organisation of the transfer of sold artworks to the buyers.
Create Collaborate Collective Inc will
-
Supply all the hanging and display infrastructure. Plinths can be arranged with notice.

Curate and bump in and bump out of the exhibition.
-
Preparation and printing of the room sheets.
-
Manage volunteers to help run the events and exhibition.

Provide public liability insurance.
Artspirit will
-
Promote the exhibition on The Queanbeyan Hive website, social media channels and email newsletter.

Promote the exhibition on the NSW Tourism website as well as the QPRC Cultural newsletter.

Manage all artwork and merchandise sales for Create Collaborate Collective Inc.
Sales
-
No commission will be taken from the sale price.

Artists can expect to receive their payment via direct debit within 4 weeks of the final payment from the buyer.
Taxes

Artists need to provide Artspirit with a current ABN if they are a business.

In the absence of an ABN number being provided the artist is declaring that their works have been made in the course of furtherance of an activity done as a private recreational pursuit or hobby.
Conditions

All artworks will have to be assessed for the suitability of the curated exhibition and for the spaces that we have. We may not accept works that we feel do not meet exhibition standards, are unfinished, wet or deemed dangerous to gallery visitors or do not fit with the spaces.

Internal wall mounted artworks must not exceed 2m x 2m and heavy artworks, sculptural pieces and multimedia installations will have to be assessed on application to see if we can accommodate these appropriately.

All work exhibited must have been produced or curated by the exhibiting artist/s. It is the artists responsibility to ensure there is no infringement of copyright laws.

Sold artworks must remain on display throughout the duration of the exhibition.

The Qbn Hive has the right to facilitate bookings of the gallery space outside of the gallery hours.

While all reasonable care will be taken, Create Collaborate Collective Inc, Artspirit and The Queanbeyan Hive will not be held responsible for any damage or loss of art work that may occur during or after the exhibition.
Social Media

We will promote our exhibiting artists before and during the exhibition and where possible.

We encourage cross-promotion between gallery and artist.
Photography
-
The gallery will take and publish photographs of your work in the exhibition for promotional purposes on social media channels and for archive on the gallery website.

The gallery reserves the right to use these photographs free of charge to promote the exhibition and gallery before, during and after the exhibition.

Copyright will always remain with the artist.
