The work of restoring our Red Australian Cedar front door has been absolutely epic. First Helen melted off the top layer of lead paint, then scraped through a few other old coats to expose the wood. Then Albert went all Cuban on it, completely dissecting the door and individually restoring each of its constituent parts before painstakingly putting it all back together and then polishing it until it fairly glows.
